Alright chefs, buckle up because I’ve just stumbled on what might be the most insane currency farming method I’ve ever done in Path of Exile 2. We’re talking over 200 exalted orbs worth of loot in a single map—and that’s just from raw currency. No lucky divine orb drops or anything like that. Just straight-up, calculated juice.
So here’s the deal. This strat revolves around stacking Simulacrum Splinters like crazy using a combo of delirium tablets, instilled maps with Distilled Despair, and a super optimized Atlas passive tree. I’m talking 90% increased stack size from the instill alone, plus another 30%+ from tablets, and then we multiply all that with increased effect nodes from the tree. Result? Regular mobs dropping 3 to 4 splinters each. I even had one map where I ended up with over 340 Sim splinters. That’s a full Simulacrum and change. Nuts, right?
And the best part? The investment is super reasonable. Tablets and waystones are still cheap right now, and if you’ve got the build to handle 60% delirious maps (which I’ll post a guide for soon), you can make your money back in literally one map. If you’re not quite there yet on gear or currency, it’s also fast to buy PoE 2 currency items at cheap prices, which helped me get rolling without grinding for days.
I’ve been running a whirling ignite glitch build that just flies through maps. You don’t slow down for rituals or get bogged down with clunky mechanics. You just run, spin, kill, and collect your loot. I’m averaging over 250 Sim splinters per map, plus tons of chaos, exalteds, breach and expedition loot. At this point, I’ve got over 50 tiered rares sitting in stash just from a couple sessions.
If you want to try this, here’s the quick breakdown:

• Use 3x Distilled Despair instills on your map (90% stack size)
• Use 3-5 delirium tablets with 10% Sim splinter stack size
• Stack increased effect nodes on your Atlas (especially for explicit modifiers)
• Optional but OP: Use the irradiated tablet that lets you re-run a map after cleansing

It’s basically a guaranteed profit machine. I haven’t seen another strat that gives this kind of return with such consistency. If you’re worried about the gear check, don’t be. I’ll be posting a full build guide soon with budget options that can handle this no problem.
