Bouncy ride on my Wrangler after lift kit install

I installed a 2.5 inch lift kit on my 2016 Jeep Wrangler JK about six months ago and at first the ride was fine, but lately it's become super bouncy and harsh over small bumps, like the suspension isn't absorbing anything. I'm running Fox shocks that came with the kit and they're not leaking as far as I can tell. A friend said it could be that the shocks are too stiff for my setup or maybe the control arm bushings are binding because the geometry changed. I don't wanna just buy new shocks without knowing if something else is wrong. I need to find a shop that can check the suspension angles, bushing preload, and shock valving to figure out why it's riding so poorly. I've been looking for Elite Suspension Repair Mussafah that has experience with lifted Jeeps and can do things like check the bump stop clearance and caster angle. Has anyone here had a lift kit that rode great at first but then got worse over time, and found it was something like the track bar bushings wearing out or the shocks losing gas pressure? Also wondering if tire pressure could make that big of a difference, I'm running 35 psi on 35s right now. Any advice on what to check or a good shop in Mussafah would be amazing. Thanks.

Progressively bouncy ride six months after a lift installation that initially felt fine often points toward control arm bushing bind from improper torquing at ride height. Bushings tightened at full droop instead of at ride height preload and wear unevenly as the suspension cycles, getting worse over time.

35 psi on 35 inch tires is quite high for a lifted JK and will absolutely contribute to the harsh bouncy feel over small bumps. Dropping to around 28 to 30 psi on road and even lower off-road makes a noticeable difference in ride quality without affecting stability significantly.

Fox shocks losing gas charge gradually is a real possibility even without visible leaking. A shock that feels firm to the touch but has lost internal gas pressure will not control body movement properly and produces exactly the harsh uncontrolled bounce you are describing over small inputs.

Bump stop clearance after a 2.5 inch lift is worth checking if nobody set it correctly during installation. Insufficient bump stop gap means the suspension is contacting the stop too early on small bumps rather than only at full compression as intended.

Caster angle check is important but usually causes handling and steering issues rather than ride harshness specifically. The bushing preload and shock gas pressure diagnosis is more likely to explain the bouncy deterioration over six months of normal use.
